Hi!
I've been having a problem with my weight. I've been starting to work out recently since I really wanted to tone up for the summer.
Although I feel like I have been working really hard on it, I don't feel as if it's paying off.
I don't see any progress as far as my weight and I've asked some of friends who are trainers and they have no idea.
I just really wanted a second opinion.
Thanks!
- Super for the Summer
Hi, Summer!
I think your problem has to do with what you're eating. Although everyone's body is very different I think the main problem is your consumption.
See, although we may be working out, a huge part of weight loss is what we're putting in our body. Try eating a bit healthier,
not suggesting a strict diet but make sure you cognizant of what you're eating, especially the calorie count.

Hi!
I've been having a problem with fruits. I've never really had any weight issues but I really wanted to get fit.
I was recommended to eat more fruits and I like fruits, but I have a really crazy schedule at work so I don't really always have
time. So decided that along with my exercise I would drink some pre-made fruit drinks, but I don't think that it's working.
Thanks!
- Fantasticly Fruity
Hi, Fruity!
I think your problem has to do with that fact that for the most part, pre-made drinks aren't really that good for you. For example,
the brand Naked Juice was sued by CSPI for 9 million for false marketing. Naked Juice was marketing their drinks as "healthy" and "good for you",
when in reality it's the other way around. But don't be fooled, this doesn't only apply to Naked Juice, it applies to many other
companies that fail to educate their consumers about the incredibly high sugar count in thier drinks. But our advice here at Veg-ucate is
to try and pre-cut your fruit the night before so that you don't have to worry about eating it whole. But no matter what, stay away
from fruit drinks.
Hope this helps,

Hi!
I've been having trouble sleeping at night. And when I wake up, I'm usually late and super tired. I have always have a lot of homework,
which always requires me to stay up late, and that ends up in me being tired in the morning. It's a rather sad cycle. Is there anything I can do
to help me get enough rest at night?
Thanks!
- Sleep Deprived
Hi, Sleep Deprived!
Have you tried setting an alarm in the morning, instead of trusting your body to wake itself? There are also apps like Sleep Timer, which calculate your
sleep cycles and figure out a time for you best to wake up. Waking up in the middle of a sleep cycle can cause you to be tired all day, so apps like Sleep Timer
calculate times when you will be in the middle of a transition of sleepcycles for you to wake up. Also, how old are you? It is scientifically proven that teenage brains are hardwired to go
to bed later, so that could affect how late you go to bed. For the homework thing, try creating a list of things you need to complete, and set a timers
for each task. It may help you complete it before it gets too late.
